Tim Mackey, MAS, PhD

Dr. Tim K. Mackey is the CEO and co-Founder of S-3 Research. He is also a current Professor at a leading research university, and the Editor-in-Chief at JMIR Infodemiology. He holds a BA in Political Science-International Relations, a Masters Degree in Health Policy & Law and also earned his PhD in Global Public Health from the joint doctoral program at UC San Diego - San Diego State University.

Dr. Mackey is an expert in a number of different interdisciplinary fields including global health, big data and machine learning, online safety, health policy and law, infodemiology, global governance, pharmaceutical policy, digital health, and blockchain technology.

He also has extensive professional experience including over 10 years experience in the private sector and acting as a consultant for the World Health Organization, the US Department of State and others.
